Second floor addition, new porch, added sunroom and main floor renovation

Before jumping immediately to buying something larger, which often means a lot of stress, complexity, and then actually moving, you should consider a home addition.

We added a full, second floor addition to this small bungalow, plus added a light-filled, main floor sunroom. As you can see from the before/after photos, the exterior was transformed as well. The front door was relocated, the carport removed and a welcoming porch was added, completely changing the feel of the home. The entire exterior was re-sided and new windows were added throughout, with the added bonus of higher energy efficiency. The exterior renovation was completed with a long-lasting concrete driveway. The entire layout of the main floor of changed and was opened up for entertaining, and the staircase was relocated and completely redone with new oak stairs up to the second floor and down to the basement.
A couple of attractive, slated wood dividing walls were also added, including one right as you enter the home.
This new second floor extension includes 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all in a tidy, compact layout.
