So, we decided to continue our renovation roundup and bring you a blog full of some of the kitchen renovations we have completed across Kitchener-Waterloo. Colourful kitchen cabinets for the win!
Completed at the end of 2017, this bright and beautiful kitchen was a bit ahead of it’s time with colourful custom cabinetry. The cabinet colour is Benjamin Moore Stillwater 1650 and the cabinetry was designed and installed by out trusted partners at Cabinet Effects.
For this kitchen renovation, we removed one window and added a fireplace and an additional door. We also installed new lighting and created a delightful breakfast nook where our happy homeowners can sip their morning coffee in the sunshine and enjoy the view of their garden.
A modern and moody makeover
From bright and cheery to modern and moody, the kitchens we renovate come in an array of design styles. We work closely with our clients identifying their design and function needs creating a space that’s perfectly tailored to them. The kitchen from this next renovation we completed was part of a whole home renovation in Kitchener, Ontario. Have a look at this dark and modern space.
We took advantage of the existing curved glass sunroom, which is now part of the renovated kitchen. The wall of windows helps offset all of the dark elements in this kitchen by letting in all of that natural light. All of the other windows in the home were replaced with black Euro Vinyl Windows (also ahead of their time). The modern, dark cabinetry was supplied and installed by Cambridge Kitchens & Baths Inc. for this Kitchener kitchen renovation.
A century farmhouse kitchen
Moving away from modern and moody, the next kitchen renovation we have rounded up is a century farmhouse renovation we completed in Waterloo, Ontario several years a go. The transitional design of this kitchen ties together traditional elements like the beams and wood floors with contemporary features like custom cabinetry, modern lighting and appliances. Perfect for entertaining a large family, this kitchen has ample space and seating, and offers a warm and inviting vibe thanks to all of that natural wood.
Waterloo kitchen renovation
One of our more recent renovation projects is our John Street, Waterloo renovation. This home renovation included the kitchen, living room and main floor bathroom. The kitchen in this space is small but very functional and the custom cabinetry from Cabinet Effects provides more than enough storage for these happy homeowners.
While demolishing this existing kitchen, we discovered a beautiful, original wooden beam which we left exposed and lightly refinished. Energy efficient triple glazed windows from Strassburger make the kitchen extra comfortable any season of the year and the custom cabinets were built and installed by Cabinet Effects. The quartz countertop is from Cambria and Menno master electrician Ron installed the new LED pot lights and under cabinet lights. Vivero vinyl plank flooring (perfect for puppy paws) was installed by Armstrong Flooring.
