Sometimes it is fun to look back at some of the work we have been involved in and pick out a few examples of design that we love.
Here is a new set of maple stairs we installed leading to a second floor addition on a bungalow. The stairs were treated with a natural finish that really makes the iron railing really stands out.
Not your ordinary dark, low ceiling basement gym. This home gym features cathedral ceiling and huge windows that flood the space with light. This room was part of an addition designed by Whiting Design of Waterloo.
Sometimes it is the little details that can make all the difference. In this bedroom addition we designed in a bump up in the centre of the room to 9′ tall to create a tray ceiling. It adds a little pizazz to the room.
This kitchen in an older Guelph home needed a new kitchen that would meet the needs of the modern family but still stayed true to the age of the house. We opted for a combination of painted and cherry finishes. The floor is a fossilized limestone tile. The kitchen cabinets are from Cambridge Kitchens and the floor from Indo Flooring.
We were able to incorporate the Owner’s existing leaded glass window sash into the new cabinets but making them into cabinet doors. The cabinet features glass shelves and lights to really make the corner pop.
Finally, we sometimes get involved with special projects for previous clients. This was a new house we designed for clients who were moving out of the area. They trusted us with the design because we knew them well. They were able to connect with a hybrid prefab house builder who put our plan together.
