However, after weighing our options, we decided that it would better suit the family&#8217;s needs to reorganize the layout, creating an open flow in their existing space. When working with a renovation company, it is important to find a team that will help you figure out the best solution, not just rush forward with what you assume is the logical choice. Often, we can find less expensive or less intrusive ways to help you create a home that is&nbsp;both welcoming and functional.<\/p>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1180 size-full\" style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" src=\"https:\/\/mennosmartin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/waterloo-main-floor-27.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"658\" height=\"439\"><\/h2>\n<h2>Noteworthy features:<\/h2>\n<p>Some of the features we love are the rustic, custom finished oak hardwood flooring and the built-in bread box with up-lift door hardware.<\/p>\n<p>This home also comes equipped with these other stylish changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Custom box beams<\/li>\n<li>Glass cabinetry<\/li>\n<li>Reclaimed pine kitchen island with multi-layer epoxy finish<\/li>\n<li>A stone fireplace with rustic wood mantle<\/li>\n<li>Custom built pantry with sliding barn doors<\/li>\n<li>A farmhouse sink<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Herringbone pattern tile<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1196\" style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" src=\"https:\/\/mennosmartin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/waterloo-main-floor-21.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"658\" height=\"438\"><\/h2>\n<h2>What our client had to say&#8230;.(we loved working with this great family too!)<\/h2>\n<p><em>&#8220;We chose Menno S.
