Laverne Brubacher

Laverne is owner and chief servant of Menno S Martin Contractor Limited. Our company was founded in 1942 by Menno Martin, and Laverne has been with us since 1965. He has been actively involved in the Home Builders Association at the local, provincial, and national level. In acknowledgment of his contributions to the industry, Laverne has received numerous awards and recognitions over the years.

He has been actively involved in the development of the National Renovator’s Training Program with the Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA), and with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). He is a certified facilitator of this course.

Since 2000, Laverne has been actively involved as a member of the Remodelers Executive Roundtable, a peer review group that meets twice yearly. Advice and feedback is shared on how each company can continually improve the products and services they offer. Business owners review financials, develop organizational charts, and work to create systems that will add efficiency and predictability to their companies, while promoting high ethical standards.

Currently Laverne serves on several community association boards and is Chair of the Leadership Council of his church.
